Failed SSL connection to Geekbench Browser server (Geekbench 4)
I have an iMac running OS X 10.11.6 and am trying to use the trial version of Geekbench 4 (the newest version that this OS supports) to benchmark the machine before doing hardware and software updates. Upon completing a benchmark, I am unable to see the results and receive a notice that Geekbench can't connect to the Geekbench Browser because "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made." I have a secure and reliable internet connection that works for other applications, so I don't think this is the problem.
Understandably, this might be due to the age of the hardware and software - for example, the currently installed Safari fails to find valid certificates for many websites.
Any ideas about the problem or suggested remedies would be appreciated. I can provide more info about my system if needed. Thanks in advance!
