Platform Support
Hi,
Really enjoying GeekBench so far - nice work!
Would love to see Linux support for ARM CPUs - if that were added, you'd have the final piece covered in terms of comparisons between platforms and OSes.
If you're looking for any assistance (cross-compile libraries for Linux on ARM etc) let me know - might be able to assist.
Thx
Matt

Hi Matt,
Thanks! I'm glad you like Geekbench.
What ARM hardware platforms are you interested in running Geekbench on?
Thanks,
John

Hi Matt,
I've posted a build of Geekbench for Linux/ARM which you can download from the following location:
http://geekbench.s3.amazonaws.com/geekbench-2.4.2-LinuxARM.tar.gz
Please let me know if you have any feedback regarding the build.
Thanks,
John

Hello John,
Do you have a Geekbench 3.x for Linux/ARM? I was hoping to run it on the Marvell Armada 38X ARMv7 SoC.

Thanks,
Lester

Hi Lester,
We do not have a build of Geekbench 3 for Linux/ARM available at this time.
If you're interested in Geekbench 3 for Linux/ARM for commercial purposes then a Geekbench 3 Source License may be an option for you. I know several of our Source Licensees have ported Geekbench 3 to unsupported platforms (including Linux/ARM) for their own internal use. I would be happy to provide you with a quote for a Source License -- please email me directly at john at primatelabs dot com.
Best,
John
