Why does GeekBench 3.1.2 identify my Mac Pro as a mid 2010 model when System Information on my Mac Pro indicates that it's a mid-2012 model?

    Hi Charles,

    Thank you for your message. Geekbench cannot reliably determine if it's running on a 2010 model or a 2012 model given that both models have very similar hardware configurations. This issue shouldn't affect benchmark performance.
