Lion
Hello,
my Geekbench from the Appstore runs on 10.6.8 fine.
Testing with the new 10.7, Geekbench wants my Apple ID. Entering
the information Geekbench just quits.
Why?
Thank You

Hi Erne,
Thanks for your message. Could you try deleting and reinstalling Geekbench? Your installation might be damaged in which case this will fix the problem. If it doesn't let me know and I will investigate further.
Thanks,
John

Hi Erne,
I'm glad you got Geekbench working under Lion. Unfortunately, I think you'll have to delete Geekbench again to get it working under Snow Leopard (I don't think App Store apps from Lion will work under Snow Leopard).
So you don't have to keep deleting Geekbench when you switch operating systems I've sent you a license that you can use with Geekbench from the Primate Labs website. You should receive the license in a separate email shortly. You can download the latest version of Geekbench from:
http://primatelabs.ca/geekbench/download/
Hopefully this will let you run Geekbench under both Lion and Snow Leopard more easily than Geekbench from the Mac App Store. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to answer them!
Best,
John
