Have MacBook Pro i7 2.6Ghz 16GB RAM 1TB HD

My MacBook pro seems really slow. I don't know if it's me or there is something wrong.
Took it to Apple Store and their diagnostics said there is nothing wrong with it. But it's
gotten much slower.

I ran GeekBench, but the number's are greek. How do I know what's a good memory speed.
Also, is there a tool that will also test the HD?

Thanks,
Josh

    Hi Josh,

Our Mac Benchmark chart should give you an idea of what numbers are reasonable for your machine. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to help out.

    Hi

Thanks for the response. Most of the tests are processor related. Is
there a way to directly test disk and ram I/o?

    Thanks

Geekbench does test RAM performance (see the memory and the STREAM sections). Xbench is a reasonable test for HDD performance (although it wasn't designed to test SSD performance).

    Best,
    John
