Inconsistent score

I have a Google/LG nexus 5 and every time I use geekbench 3, I get inconsistent scores! .... The two scores were both based on my phone.

   Thank you for your message. How far apart were the two runs? What were you doing with the phone before you ran Geekbench? Do you have any background applications running?

   It was probably a few days apart ........ And no apps were running at the time ... I make sure that I close all apps before running the tests.

   That's strange! We see that sort of variation when the processor gets hot and has to "slow down" so as not to overheat. Generally, though, if the phone has been sitting idle for a while the scores should be more or less identical. Are you able to consistently reproduce the low score?
