Troubleshooting Connection Problems

Some users have problems connecting their Wii Remote to Wiimote. These problems can usually be resolved by following these steps:

• Double-check that Bluetooth is turned on. You can check to see if Bluetooth is turned on by looking in the Bluetooth section of System Preferences.
• If you've added your Wii Remote with your Mac in your Bluetooth settings, remove it. Wiinote talks directly to your Wii Remote so associating your Wii Remote with your Mac will cause problems.
• Reset your Wii Remote. Open up the battery cover and press the red reset button.

If you find you're still having trouble after following these steps, quit Wiinote, wait a minute, restart Wiinote, then try and connect your Wii Remote by pressing the "1" and "2" button at the same time. If that doesn't work, please contact support.
