Export to Markdown
Another feature request... hehehe. If we could export to Markdown the VoodooPad documents could be used in static web generators such as Hugo.

Hi Kent,
Thanks for your suggestion! If I understand what you mean correctly, there is some support for exporting as Markdown in VoodooPad at the moment. You should be able to export a page with File->Export Page As, then select Markdown from the Format dropdown to produce an md file. Would I be correct in thinking that you would like to see this functionality supported while exporting the entire document?
All the best,

Yes but the export would be for the whole document (every page). If output as md files it would be easier to put them into a static web generator, not that those have rules where to place the files and the internal links might cause issues so maybe this is more convoluted than expected.

I see, thanks for confirming for me! I'll pass this suggestion along to my team for more consideration and see if it's something that we can incorporate into a future update.
All the best,

Yes if the pages are in the same directory and there's no issue with the interlinking of pages within md files, it might work but I'm afraid most static web generators can't handle links that are in the same level and either assume a proper hierarchy from the top down. I should do some experiments with Hugo that seems to be the current favorite static web generator -- if it handles links within the same sub-folder it should work.
