Allow to select default document style when creating new pages
Currently VoodooPad creates new pages RTF documents when creating them.
I would love for a setting to change the default to Markdown. This would be especially handy for cases when I create the page using WikiLinks and not manually, where I can do it via a drop-down menu.
Would that be possible?

Hi Lukas,
I apologize for the late response. There is an option in VoodooPad to change the default page. If you go into the Info Palette and change to the Document tab, there is a dropdown menu next to "New Page Format". You can change it to Markdown, Plain Text, or Rich Text. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I have been looking for that for years! I like mine to be in plain text so that they are editable on my mobile device. I dug through preferences and the menu and searched the internet. I never thought to look inside one of the palette items. Thanks!
Is there an easy way to convert many pages at once to plain text? My process now is opening the individual pages and choosing the menu items and clicking convert on the warning dialog. even a hot key to the menu item would be helpful.

Hi Mandy,
At the moment, there is no option to convert more than one page to plain text at once. You will have to convert them all manually, as you have been doing. I will pass on the suggestion for a keyboard shortcut that can be used to convert pages - that might make the process easier. Although I hope that finding the option to change your default page will prevent you from having to do this in future! Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
