Hi I'm getting my new M2 Macbook Air and tried to install Voodoo Pad, but realise it's not working... wondering what can I do with it? (I purchased with the license key 2 years ago, so the download is from the website not from the Apple App Store

Ky, I just got an M2 MacBook Air, too. It wants me to install Rosetta to use VP as it is expecting an Intel architecture. :(

Visit the official VoodooPad website or contact the developer to check if there are any updates or a new version of VoodooPad that supports M1 Macs. Developers may release compatibility updates over time.

I just fired up an M2 Studio. Installing Rosetta only took a minute and Voodoo Pad seems to work fine.

If VoodooPad isn’t working on your new M2 MacBook Air, it may be due to compatibility issues with the new macOS or the M2 architecture. Here are a few steps you can try:

Check for Updates: Visit the VoodooPad website to see if there's a newer version optimized for Apple Silicon or the latest macOS.
Rosetta 2: If the app isn’t native to Apple Silicon, try running it under Rosetta 2, which emulates Intel-based apps.
Contact Support: Reach out to VoodooPad support for help with your license and compatibility questions. kaiser roof and exteriors
