Save.
Search across the Voodoopad document for ####
Expected: Find pages with this string
Current: Does not find any pages

It would be nice to add this as some of us use non-alphanumeric characters as bread crumbs to find where we are working in various sections of the VoodoPad document(s).

Kent Sandviktag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/456432692018-07-09T16:06:21Z2018-07-09T16:06:21ZSearch using other non-alphanumeric character strings not working

Hi Kent,

Thanks for bringing this issue up. I've let the team know about it. We'll take a look as soon as possible. Feel free to reach out if you have any other concerns.

Now, most of us use SSD today so this should not be an issue.

Also, this omission makes it not possible to add #tag style entries into the document, if a word starts with a non-alphanumeric value it's not part of global searches. #modern-tagging-syntax is very nice.

Kent Sandviktag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/456432692018-07-09T20:07:57Z2018-07-09T20:07:57ZSearch using other non-alphanumeric character strings not working

Hi Kent,

Have you used the to-do feature yet? This might be useful for you to use in the meantime.

https://www.voodoopad.com/documentation/to-dos/

You don't need to use the @ format - you can create a new "to-do" with a #tag instead, and it will list all pages with the # in alphabetical order in the To-do Palette so you can access them there. I know it's not quite what you hoped for, but it might be worth a try for now. Let me know if this works.

It's just cumbersome to keep the palette window open and find things there compared with open-ended global searches across all the documents.

Kent Sandvik
