Search missing on VoodooPad for iOS on iPad

On my iPad Pro (large screen), VoodooPad for iOS is missing the search feature. The "Search" link that should show up in the upper-right corner of the "Pages" list, like it does on my iPhone, is missing. As a result, there is no way to search my VoodooPad documents on my iPad, which is functionality I often need.

I believe that this is a regression that showed up in the first Primate Labs version of VoodooPad. I was hoping that it would get fixed in 5.2.1, but it isn't fixed.
