I've updated my VooDoo pad in the past and had major issues. I want to upgrade to the newest version. But my experience with VooDoo pad the last several years is that it's glitchy and it doesn't seem well supported anymore. I LOVE IT though, and DON'T want to convert programs. The information inside the program is EXTREMELY important to me and I would probably want to die if I lose it. Sorry for the drama but it's true!

Also, I fear I also have lost my "table of contents" / index page. Since I suddenly can no longer find it. And all I did this morning was delete a few pages and add some information. When I click "index" only a page that says INDEX at the top can be found.

What upgrades have caused issues in the past?

I lost all my data before… or something like that, whatever it was, it was so traumatizing I haven’t upgraded in years

This is a recurring preoccupation. I remember a few years back a doctor saying he had thousands of pages of patient records and asking how to save them. I would suggest to Meagan to export the files, at any given time, when the programme is running properly, to the internet browser: File/export document/web export/ template (webapp is clear, I personally like "Garland") / output directory (export the document into a separate folder in the computer). In the folder click on "index" and the entire document will open in the internet browser exactly as in VoodooPad. This can be saved as a bookmark and it's always only a click away. Obviously like "Time Machine" it has to be done regularly. HOWEVER it no longer works in VoodooPad 6 versions 1 and 2. I hope the team can fix this in future releases.
