VP 5.3.0 / extremely slow

Hi, my VP is so slow that it drives me nuts... I have a super-power machine, and VP lags as if it's running on a system from the 90s...

Any idea what the cause could be or what to do about it?

   Thanks for reaching out to us about this. Could you let me know what kind of system you are running VoodooPad on (including the macOS version number), and when VoodooPad seems to be slow for you? For example, does this occur when navigating through large documents, or does it occur with small documents as well?

   OSX 10.14.6 (18G1012)

   Seems to happen when I have a lot of tabs open.
