Crash on "Convert page to Markdown"

I've just installed Voodoo Pad Version 5.3.0 (6450) on my MacBook Pro, running 10.13.6 High Sierra... And every time i try to run the "Convert Page to Markdown" command, it crashes the app. I've replicated this bug numerous times, and can't find any way around it. Is there anything to do about this?
