Links in exported PDF file do not work
Hello Team,
First, I would like to say, that I find the concept behind VoodooPad and the ease of use excellent!
I love to use it and helps me create large 'databases' of linked notes (pages) very easily.
I would like to mention a 'problem' that I see: when I export my entire document (consisting of many pages) in PDF format, I get a PDF file which shows the links (as highlighter and underlined text) but they do not work: when clicking on a link, a small window opens up with the message (the PDF file was opened with the Preview app, on a Mac):
f5f7ff6e-16b3-439d-a156-495a4f729849
Preview will open this link in another app
Two buttons were included in this window: "Open in Another App" and "Cancel".
When clicking on the "Open in Another App" button, a new window opens up with the message:
The application can't be opened.
-50
There was only a single "OK" button on this new message window. Clicking on it, made the message window disappear.
All the above occurred in the following system setup:
VoodooPad version 5.4.0 (6608) running on an Intel Mac, under macOS Sonoma 14.6.1.
I have seen that the same problem had been reported sometime in 2022. Is the problem known to you and will it be (or has it already been) addressed?
Exporting the entire document (not individual pages) as "Web export" works well, in my experience, and I am relying on that to export my notes so that I can distribute them to others that do not have access to VoodooPad.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards
Michael Patelis
