is there a Markdown plugin, instead of using a special page type?
Hi all!
I've been using VoodooPad every work day since May 2007 for keeping my work notes. I've wondered occasionally if I should try other applications, but it's been firmly in the "not broke, why fix?" category for me. So, thank you all for being here, and I'm glad to hear VP6 is in the works. (And fyi, I'm on Sonoma 14.5 with an m1 mbp.)
My question is - it only just occurred to me to wonder about markdown support, after all this time. I see there are markdown-specific pages. But, if I just want Markdown Lite(TM) with support for bold, italic, 2x kinds of lists, etc., - can I get that? I don't need it to be able to un-convert from rendered text to code, so in that way what I want is different from discord/slack, but it's close to that.
Thanks!

I'm not sure what you want to do here -- do you want to embed Markdown in plain text or rich text pages?
