Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this. I'm not sure if I understand the situation you're describing very clearly. Could you let me know what kind of link (e.g. a normal page link, or a Custom URL Link from the Edit menu) you're using to link to "18718", and how you want to store another document "under" it? Could you got into a bit more detail on the kinds of linking that you'd like to implement in your document?
All the best,
Colin

I will try
I have a folder ( call it: Master folder) on my desk top contains several sub folder and in each sub there are several documents.
I entered on the Voodoo home page the Master folder which was underlined , when clicked took me to a new page.
On that new page I started entering sub folders, they all were underlined. I was ask to chose between a LINK or a PDF . I chose link but wasn’t sure then.
When I click on any of the sub folders it took me to a new page with document title links but not the actual document in pdf or word which is what I want to see.Instead when I click on the document link it opens up in browser.
Which would be ok , but what if the location of that doc changes. !?
I hope I made it clear.

Hi,
I see, thank you for following up with me. It sounds like you are connecting pages in VoodooPad in parallel with a folder structure on your device. If you're using the basic page link (using the Link button in the toolbar, or using Make Link in the Edit menu) then you are creating new pages for each name that you're using. For example, if you have Folder A in the Master folder, and create a page link for Folder A in your Master page, then you're creating a page called Folder A. VoodooPad organizes ideas as pages that are linked to each other, with a group of pages being saved as a document.
If you want to link to non-VoodooPad files on your system, you can do so by dragging them into your page to create a link to that file. Then you can click the link to open the file. If the file moves, the link should update to find the file's new location.
One part of your explanation that I'm not very certain about is the window asking you to choose "Link or PDF". Could you let me know what kind of file you were linking to when this happened, and how you linked to it (e.g. dragging it into the page). If you could send me a screenshot of the window itself, that would also be very helpful.
All the best,
