Voodoo Pad Transfer to New Computer
Hello, I recently bought a new MacBook Pro and I am having difficulties transferring my Voodoo Pad information from my old MacBook. I saved it onto a flash drive, and transferred it to the new computer, but I get the following message. "The alias “CLINIC NOTEBOOK” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found."
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Erik,
Thanks for posting about this. It sounds like the file that was copied to your flash drive is an Alias - which is a link to a file. You will need to find the original VoodooPad document and copy that over instead. To check that the file you're copying over is the original and not the alias, you can control-click the file and choose Get Info. It should say "VoodooPad Document" next to Kind.

Sarah,
Thank you so much for your help thus far. Unfortunately, I have scoured my
computer for an original file, but am unable to find anything marked
"VooDoo Pad Document." Everything I have found is either marked "Alias" or
"Application" next to kind. I have version 4.3.6 (VooDoo Pad 2) could this
be an issue? Thanks.
Erik
