when I disable automatic linking in the info section of the palette - the feature is not disabled. Is this a recognised problem?

    Hi Colin,

Thanks for posting. What version of macOS and VoodooPad are you currently using? Are any of the links removed initially when you disable automatic linking? There are some issues with this feature currently, but I would like to clarify what you are experiencing on your end.

    Thanks for getting back Sarah

    OS High Sierra 10.13.6
    Voodoo Pad 5.2.2

yes it appears that links that are automatically linked are removed when it is disabled, but then they come back when I type the name of an existing page. When this happens I can sometimes manually unlink the word/phrase, sometimes not, then I have to delete it to remove the link.

Thanks for clarifying. I've let the team know and I'll post here if I have any updates on a fix for this. There is a known issue with the unlink option not working on Plain Text and Markdown pages, so that could be what is keeping you from manually unlinking if you are using either one of those page types.

I always use rich text - so maybe the unlinking problem is there too

That could be so. What method do you usually use to unlink pages (e.g. control-clicking the link, using the dropdown menu)? And when the link is created after you type the page name, if you click that link in the same view and go back, is the link still active?

to unlink pages I select the text and two figure click on trackpad to get drop down menu.

if I click the link in the same view and go back the link is no longer active
