tryout version and proxy support
Hi there.
I've been looking at geekbench using the tryout version. I cannot get the results because geekbench cannot connect to the web. I have my servers behind a proxy.
Is there anyway to overcome this? I can use a local small proxy without authentication if it makes it easier (cntlm).
Thanks,
Duarte

Hi Duarte,
Thank you for your message. Which operating system are you running on your servers?
Thanks,
John

Hi John.
I'm using Windows 2008 64bit. But this applies to any windows OS. Even my
personal laptop running win7 cannot connect when behind this proxy.
Thank you.
Duarte

Hi Duarte,
Geekbench 3 currently does not work from behind a proxy under Windows. We're hoping to address this issue in Geekbench 3.2.0 which is due out later this year. Thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue.
In the meantime let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to help out.
Best,
John
