The CPU is a i5
3350P with 8 gig of DD3 and a nvidia GT620 card (I know that is
bery low end). This was the only i5 CPU available. After the
purchasae I came across a web site called cpu boss I think and it
listed the Geekbench for the 3350p at 7862 and the i5 3450 at
11,801! Can this be possible? Or is this because the 3350p has no
dedicated graphics? THe benchmarks on this website are much closer.
Am I not understanding something? Please help me set myself at
ease. Of course I would have bought the i7 3770 if I could have
afforded it. Thanks in advance.

Bob Perodeautag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/259430402013-04-02T18:42:56Z2013-04-02T18:42:56ZIntel i5 3350P score correct?

Hi Bob,

Thank you for your message. I'm not familiar with the CPU Boss
website, but their Geekbench score for the Core i5 3450 is quite
high. Our chart
puts the Core i5 3450 at ~8,150 points.

Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to
help out.

that there is no 64 bit score for the Intel i5 3350P. Is this
because this is a fairly new processor and there is not enough
data? Lastly, so in your opinion would you say that the 3450 and
3350P are comparable in real world performance save for lack of GPU
in the 3350P? I don't game and will generally be using my XPS 8500
for media streaming, entertainment, etc. at home. But I do
understand the 3450 is slightly faster. Thank you again for your
time.

Bob Perodeautag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/259430402013-04-13T02:29:46Z2013-04-13T02:29:46ZIntel i5 3350P score correct?

Hi Bob,

We generally have more data for 32-bit performance than 64-bit
performance so newer processors like the 3350P don't always show up
on our 64-bit chart.

The performance of the 3350P and the 3450 are quite comparable.
You'd be hard-pressed to notice a difference in real-world
scenarios.
