GeekBench 2.2.2?

Is 2.2.2 only available to those who purchase via the App Store? I purchased 2.1.12 back in February and can only find 2.1.13 available for download on this site. I wouldn't mind trading my license for an app store license, if that were even possible. Mostly just want to use the latest revision. Thanks!

    Hi Mike,

Right now Geekbench 2.2.2 is only available through the Mac App Store. Geekbench 2.2.0 Beta 5 (which is based on the same code base) is available from the Primate Labs website:

    http://www.primatelabs.ca/download/beta/Geekbench22Mac.zip

Why are the versions out of sync? There is some functionality in Geekbench 2.2 that the Mac App Store required (namely the unified interface) which is why I had to ship Geekbench 2.2 in the Mac App Store.

Geekbench 2.2 will be out of beta soon, at which point both versions will match up. Sorry for the confusion this caused.

    Best,
    John

Ah, ok, that makes perfect sense-- no worries. Just want to give 2.2.2 a whirl on a new MacBook Air :D
