Vulkan not available on aarch64 linux

Trying to use the Vulkan compute benchmark on linux systems based on aarch64 doesn't find the GPU.
I'm currently running a RK3588 with Mali G610 GPU with the corresponding libmali drivers that allow me to use Vulkan 1.3 in other applications. Only Geekbench is listing OpenCL and not Vulkan.

With devices like Nvidia Project Digits, Orin Nano and more becoming available this is a key benchmark that seems to be missing
