<p>I'm sorry you're having problems running Geekbench on Ubuntu
12.10. I cannot reproduce the error message you see. Could you tell
me the command-line you're using to run Geekbench? Are you able to
run the 32-bit version of Geekbench?</p>
<p>Thanks,<br>

in the data that way. The command that I was prompted with never
accepted my email an/or license key by running ./geekbench_x86_64 .
So thats solved, BUT I don't understand why now my 64-bit scores
are lower than 32-bit in both Ubuntu 13.04 & Debian 7. ???</p></div>thstclairtag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/235537232013-01-17T18:55:03Z2013-01-17T18:55:03Zbash: syntax error near unexpected token `&'<div><p>Tom -</p>
<p>I'm glad you got everything working. Could you send me a link to
your 32-bit and 64-bit scores? I'd like to take a look at them.</p>

I am stuck at this... Maybe
this is so simple it is just going over my shoulders but any help
on how to put it in. It runs 32 bit and I am just stumped.</p></div>fortinuextag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/235537232013-01-23T09:39:03Z2013-01-23T09:39:04Zbash: syntax error near unexpected token `&'<div><p>Okay well I got the key working after actually thinking it
through and I can verify that something is broken in 64 bit for me
as well showing lower scores in 64 bit than 32 bit. My account will
be posted results under linux the rest are windows so ignore. My 64
bit is reporting extremely low even when the results seem while
testing runs scores look like they should be higher to me but maybe
I am wrong:<br>

<p>My username is fortinuex so feel free to email me or check the
results just odd. Doesn't seem to be a distro problem though.</p></div>fortinuextag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/235537232013-02-20T01:35:35Z2013-02-20T01:35:35Zbash: syntax error near unexpected token `&'<div><p>Regarding 64-bit performance on Linux, I posted this in another
thread on the same issue:</p>
<blockquote>
<p>We've been able to reproduce the problem you reported. From what
we can tell it's a problem with the compiler used to build
Geekbench for Linux; the 64-bit code it generates is slower than
the 32-bit code it generates. We're looking into ways to work
around this issue.</p>
</blockquote>
<p>Let me know if you have any questions regarding this finding and
I'd be happy to help out.</p>
<p>Best,<br>
