<p>Thank you for your message. Geekbench's benchmark runs both
single-threaded and multi-threaded tests, while Geekbench's stress
tests run only multi-core tests. Since multi-core tests score
higher than single-core tests, this leads to the overall stress
test score being higher than the overall benchmark score.</p>
<p>This is by design. Stress test scores aren't meant to be
compared against benchmark scores. Both run similar, but different
sets, of tests. However, the fact that both scores can be similar
can lead to user confusion. We'll investigate an alternative way of
scoring stress tests to eliminate this confusion.</p>
