try closing all your open programs by double tapping your home
button, this opens up all your open apps, on the bottom of your
screen, then hold down on one of the tiny apps. till it wiggles and
gives you a -neg sign, then you tap on each app to close it. not
only will this improve your memory capacity but will also improve
the speed of your phone..

drawbridge2utag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/191044602012-09-28T13:42:05Z2012-09-28T13:42:07ZIncreasing iPhone 5 Scores

I have done this each time I run it. The low to high score
increase is still present. Just curious if anyone else has noticed
this or if my A6 is dynamically clocking in an odd manner. I would
have thought a benchmark would force the processor to run at max
speed the entire time.

cletus_cassidytag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/191044602012-10-03T01:42:55Z2012-10-03T01:42:55ZIncreasing iPhone 5 Scores

Hi Cletus,

Could you upload your results to the Geekbench Browser and post
the links here? I'd like to dig into the results to see what's
going on with Geekbench on your phone.

Thanks,
No background apps running and my
ranges are 800-1649. Generally additionally runs result in the
larger numbers. The app also incorrectly lists the processor speed
from time to time. I would really like to know if this is an app
issue or a phone issue.

Davidtag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/191044602012-10-18T01:36:01Z2012-10-18T01:36:01ZIncreasing iPhone 5 Scores

I also see that the original question was asked five days ago
with no answer still yet. I'm off to iTunes to leave a 1 star
review for the app. Whether it functions or not the least you could
do is provide support in a timely manner instead of leaving us
wondering if there is something wrong with our devices. I must say
I'm quite disappointed.

Davidtag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/191044602012-10-25T21:19:20Z2012-10-25T21:19:20ZIncreasing iPhone 5 Scores

Im having same issue with my iphone 5. I start off with like
1100 or so and every test i run it slowly gets faster and
faster...about 5 test and im at 1640's.

If ilet the phone idel for a few minuites or so, and i run bench
test again it starts again at a low number and slowly goes up.
Maybe thats the way the chip was designed to conserve mroe
battery?

How about this, if i play a game likie Contract killer for like
5 min, then i go run a bench test my score is in the 1640's
again....so yea. Tested geekbench with another friends iphone 5 and
same thing, start off at slow speeds, works it way up at about the
5th test, its were it needs to be.

No apps in backgroubnd, airplane mode to make sure is on.

Oscartag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/191044602012-10-29T17:29:43Z2012-10-29T17:29:43ZIncreasing iPhone 5 Scores

Oscar -

We're still looking into the issue. I will post here once a
solution has been found.

We're currently working with Apple to solve the problem of
reduced iPhone 5 performance while on battery power. Until a
solution is found we recommend that customers run Geekbench on
their iPhone 5 while it is plugged into a power source.
