Geekbench scores dropped after one month of use

I've been running Geekbench benchmarks just to keep track of my laptop's performance. No applications running in the background except bitdefender.
For some reason the score dropped by 38 points in just one month.
I don't have older scores currently but if I remember correctly they were higher than both, being just a few weeks older.

It seems that cpu performance is deteriorating very quickly.

    This could be down to (worsened) thermals (e.g. you might have more dust in your cooling system), (new) background applications or Windows updates.

    I'm positive your CPU hasn't deteriorated in any way or shape.
