Which Apple core is Geekbench measuring?

When Geekbench reports a single core score for a device with the later A-series chips which type of core (high performance or high efficiency) should we assume it is measuring or is the answer an average of the two types? I ask because these chips have both high performance and high efficiency cores that are leveraged in a complex way by the power management system.
