This question has probably been answered before, but I couldn't find the answer. So, apologies is advance.

Anyway, my question is this: Are the Geekbench multi-core benchmarks embarrassingly parallel? In other words, are they running 4 separate threads of the single-core test on a 4-core machine, one for each core? Or are they running test that might not scale as favorably with the number of cores?

From my experience the test is massively parallel.
