Hello, I have an issue with Geekbench 5. When I run Compute test via Metal API at Face Detection whole OS hangs for a couple of minutes. This only happens on macOS Catalina, Mojave works just fine. How can I debug this? Here's a link to report -> https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/compute/614216

The OS should not freeze/hang when running user space applications.

Please request support directly from Apple. I suspect it's either a bug in the OS or GPU drivers.

This is a known issue with Face Detection on Intel GPUs under macOS Catalina. It will be fixed in Geekbench 5.1.1 (which should be available next week).

The Metal compute issues are still present in appstore 5.1.1 version. Metal benchmark yields wrong results because some algorithms fails (canny, horizon and feature matching) mostly in Iris and Iris Pro graphics macbooks pro 2014-2015, and hangs in some iMacs. Either Mojave or Catalina.
