Hello everyone,

I just bought a used Macbook Pro 15" (Mid 2014) and tested the integrated intel iris pro graphics against the dedicated gpu GeForce GT 750M 2gb vram. The integrated scored 4857 in Geekbench 5 openCL and the dedicated only 1700?!

Is something wrong with the dedicated graphicscard or are i'm missing something?

Thanks a lot for your answer!

Other users have posted similar results https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/compute/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=750M which could indicate that this GPU doesn't handle OpenCL very well.

NVIDIA's primary computational API has always been CUDA, so I'm not really surprised. Only in very recent GPUs based on Pascal and Turing architectures they've significantly improved their OpenCL performance.
