I have been looking for a replacement Android phone and have been using the geekbench 5 browser to guide me. My current 2 yo cheap zte z981 is on android 6 so I can't run geekbench 5 but my Geekbench 4 results show my single core scores as one of the highest (698-706) beating out many flagship phones. How is this possible?

    GB4 & GB5 scores are incompatible.

Here are some recent GB4 scores:

Your device is like 7-10 times slower than modern flagships.

Thank you Artem, I thought it might be something like that. I love this phone and will probably keep it in service.. My next one will replace a relatively tiny k10 on my primary line.
