Geekbench 3 Pro standalone mode

So I've just bought my new GB3P license. I launched it on my computer and entered my registration information. I used Tools -> Export License file to create a preference file; GB3P says I can use this to enable standalone mode. As with version 2, I created a folder, copied the GB3P app and the preference file into it, then took it to another Mac and launched it there. It still asks me to register. I looked at the contents of the preference file using TextEdit; I can see my email address and license key, so it looks good to me.

What am I doing wrong here?

Thank you for your message, and I'm sorry you're having issues with Standalone Mode.

I'm not sure what's going on here, as what you did should work. We'll dig into the issue and I will be in touch if we need any additional information or if we find a solution.

    Thanks,
    John

Geekbench 3.1.3 is now available for download which should fix the issue you encountered with standalone mode.

Let me know if you ever have any other issues or questions and I'd be happy to help out.

    Best,
    John
