Kernel panic?
The first time I ran Geekbench 5, I ran the CPU Benchmark. It ran fine. Then, I ran the Compute Benchmark. The test ran for about 10 minutes until 1) the screen went black 2) the screen came back after a 30 second interval, but it was grey - like a kernel panic screen, except there was a log-in screen just visible. The keyboard and mouse were unable to function, so I did a hard shut down.
Upon rebooting, everything seemed fine, but I am certainly reluctant to run the Compute Benchmark again.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this, and I'm sorry for any trouble caused by this issue. We have not encountered an issue like this before, and we would love to get a bit more information about your system.
Could you let me know which version of Geekbench 5 you were running (e.g. 5.0.3), which operating system and version your system runs, which GPU your device was running the Compute Benchmark with, and lastly the version of your graphics driver? These are quite a few requests, but could help us narrow down the issue significantly.
All the best,
Colin
