If it's not zero, your AV is probably not good.</p>
<p>There's one scenario when they do have impact: it's when you run applications, open/copy/move/save files. If there's no file system activity, again there should be no impact.</p>
<p>Also, they way GB works it doesn't really fit the purpose. You probably should use something which runs as a sustained workload, e.g. video encoding/rendering/etc.</p></div>Artem S.
