I have the almost exact same config as you and I ran the GPU benchmark. I got a crash during the compute phase (Gaussian blur) - computer actually shut down.
I have heard of Mac Pros crashing due to overloaded power supplies from GPUs drawing too much power. However I have never experienced that on my Mac Pro with this GPU even when running known power-hungry benchmark / stress-test apps like Furmark.

I guess one way to test that would be to run it with a GPU that draws less power than the RX580.

Daniel Tomantag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/476234782019-12-22T16:25:42Z2019-12-22T16:25:43ZGeekbench 5 Compute test crashes RX580 Mac Pro 2010

when start the sqlite the computer reboot

fabriziotag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/476234782020-01-20T16:59:03Z2020-01-20T16:59:04ZGeekbench 5 Compute test crashes RX580 Mac Pro 2010

My cMP5,1 shuts down in the middle of the GB test. different GPU and since I've moved around the GPUs I thought I would test
out Geekbench again.

My Mac Pro 2010 system that was crashing last year with the RX580, now has
an RX Vega 56 (MSI AirBoost OC) with an EVGA PowerLink power load balancer.
It's set to the lower-power BIOS switch. That computer now runs the latest
Geekbench 5.2.3 Compute tests with Metal or OpenCL without crashing.
Metal results: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/compute/1474744
OpenCL results: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/compute/1474749

The RX580 GPU is now in a Mac Pro 2009 (4,1 > 5,1) 12-core with 2x X5690
3.46Ghz Xeon CPUs, 96GB RAM, Mac OS High Sierra on a Samsung EVO 850 SATA
SSD. I use a dual mini-6 pin to single 8-pin power cable, that I believe
should balance the power draw well enough between the two PCIe aux power
ports. This computer also does not crash running the latest Geekbench 5.2.3
Compute tests. It's not showing the problem I had a year ago, in other
words. Perhaps the latest Geekbench has fixed it?

However, on this MP 2009 + RX580 High Sierra configuration, it won't
complete the Metal test. It completes the OpenCL test (results here:
https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/compute/1474802) but the Metal test never
pops up a result score in the GUI.

Running the Metal test from the command line as John from Primate Labs
recommended, here is the output I get:

$ /Applications/Geekbench\ 5.app/Contents/Resources/geekbench_x86_64 --compute metal

someone from Primate Labs has responded only once here and that was a year
debug info will be enough to merit a response this time?
