geekbench freezes

when i try to run geekbench it doesnt get beyond the logo, the one with the graphs an the glasses, but when i look at task manager it says that geekbench is useing 20% of my cpu
im using a toshibe laptop windows 7 64bit, i5-2430m cpu, any suggestions please ?
and it does the same thing with versions 2 and 3

    We've heard similar reports from other users, and we're actively looking into the issue. I will let you know when we have a fix available.
