No hardware changes at all. Likely a point update in MacOS Mojave.
Results on macOS 10.14.4 for Compute 4 were around 182,000 points. Upon upgrading to macOS 10.14.5 the scores plummeted to 132,000 points for Compute 4. This was around June 04th. Today the scores are still down 50,000 points.

Since then I have upgraded to an NVME SSD and the score went up about 500 points. Note the CPU benches were not impacted at all and show nothing but minor variation during the same timescale.

OPENCL and METAL both show the same losses.
3839773 vs 4306259 for Metal.
