All fetched by taking the first four or five pages of results copied into a spreadsheet. This was done two times, first sorted by fastest single core, and then sorted by fastest multi core. In all, some 400-500 observations.

Multicore:
[1950X] Linux wins over Mac and then Windows. [2950X] Linux wins over Windows (didn't find any Mac). [9900K] Linux, Mac, Windows largely overlapping.

Singlecore: [1950X] Mac wins over Linux and Windows!
[2950X] Linux and Windows largely overlapping. (didn't find any Mac) [9900K] Linux, Mac, Windows largely overlapping.

What could be the reason for Mac winning in single-core over Linux?!

table
