I apologize for any trouble this has caused, and thanks for letting us know this is still happening. Does an error message come up when the splash screen disappears?

Thanks for providing your specs.

Unfortunately there is no error message that appears after the splash screen. The Geekbench 4 logo simply disappears after trying to launch.

straitouttacomptontag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/453798752018-06-01T15:45:41Z2018-06-01T15:45:41ZGeekbench 4.2.3 Not Launching

Hi straitouttacompton,

I've let the team know about this, and we'll get to it when possible. Are you using a Tryout, Regular or Pro version?

Also, I downloaded the tryout version of Geekbench 3 and that has no issues launching for me. Weirdly enough as well, the GFXBench benchmark will not launch either. I know GFXBench isn’t affiliated with Primate Labs, but it still might mean something is configured wrong on my PC.

straitouttacomptontag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/453798752018-06-04T16:00:37Z2018-06-04T16:00:37ZGeekbench 4.2.3 Not Launching

Hi straitouttacompton,

Managed to fix it using DDU eg a uninstaller for display drivers found at C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\igdlh64.inf_amd64_250db833a1cd577e\igdrclneo32.dll , geekbench 4 now runs as expected.

luakritag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/453798752022-05-16T13:00:03Z2022-05-16T13:00:04ZGeekbench 4.2.3 Not Launching

So I was just having the same problem with Geekbench 4.4.4.

The Event Viewer indicated that "C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll" was at fault, which was incorrect.

Upon opening the crash dumps located in "C:\Users\Kyle\AppData\Local\CrashDumps" with Visual Studio I noticed that several .DLL's belonging to another program were being injected into Geekbench.

I moved the .DLL's to another directory and now Geekbench launches fine. I'm still completely clueless as to how to leave the files in place without them injecting into every executable or why the developer of the program felt the need to do this.

Drift_91tag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/453798752022-05-16T14:57:36Z2022-05-16T14:57:36ZGeekbench 4.2.3 Not Launching

Do you happen to recall the names of the DLLs that were being injected into Geekbench?

Johntag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/453798752022-05-16T17:25:39Z2022-05-16T17:25:41ZGeekbench 4.2.3 Not Launching

"cpu_device32.dll", "intelocl32.dll", "intelocl32_emu.dll" and "task_executor32.dll", although it's possible that only one was causing the issue. They're part of Intel's OneAPI C++ Compiler, which has already caused a couple of other issues with my system since I installed it. Overall I'm really not impressed with Intel.

Drift_91tag:support.primatelabs.com,2011-01-31:Comment/453798752022-05-16T18:27:23Z2022-05-16T18:27:23ZGeekbench 4.2.3 Not Launching

Thanks for the extra information. I have the integration with Visual Studio 2022 installed as well if that helps, although I don't believe that has anything to do with those particular DLL's.

Here's the download page, however I don't believe my version is available from this page anymore: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/tool/one...
