I installed an MSI GEFORCE GXT 1050Ti video adapter in my Windows 10 desktop machine then attempted to run a Geekbench 4 Pro benchmark. Upon starting Geekbench and while the splash screen was present, Geekbench 4 errored out. When I use Visual Studio to examine the debug information, I saw this:

Unhandled exception at 0x5C595DE1 (igdrclneo32.dll) in Geekbench 4.exe: 0xC000041D: An unhandled exception was encountered during a user callback. occurred

Here are the specs on the machine prior to updating the video card:

The Nvidia driver version is (4/22/2018)

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Sarah,

I’m using version 4.2, the latest download available from the Geekbench web site.

    Hi Charles,

Thanks for your response. You said that Geekbench 4 errored out while the splash screen was present. Did any error message pop up at the point? Was there anything else that happened?

Are you able to provide the current update of Windows 10 you have installed? (e.g. Settings > System > About will show a version number such as '1709')

    Thanks for answering these questions.

    Warm regards,

    Hi Sarah,

No error message popped up while the Geekbench splash screen was present other than Windows saying the application had failed and offering to go into diagnostic mode.

The Windows version information is as follows:

    Edition: Windows 10 Pro
    Version: 1803
    OS Build: 17134.1

I'm now running v4.3.3 with the same results and it's approaching a year later.

I believe this is due to a known issue with the Intel OpenCL drivers. Could you update your Intel iGPU drivers and let me know if the issue persists?
