Hi folks.
I am trying to install Geekbench on my vps to benchmark it and I get error

./dist/Geekbench-2.2.3-Linux/geekbench_x86_32: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by ./dist/Geekbench-2.2.3-Linux/geekbench_x86_32)

Could anyone please tell me what do I need to do to have it installed?
I downloaded the geekbench and untared it with tar xf Geekbench-2.2.3-Linux.tar.gz
and then ran ./dist/Geekbench-2.2.3-Linux/geekbench_x86_32
I am not very profecient with Linux but I want to learn.
Anyone,please?
Thank you.

    Hi Mitty,

    Unfortunately there's a known issue that prevents the "official" build of Geekbench 2.2.3
    from running on CentOS 5 and RHEL 5. Could you download the following build and give it a try?

    Best,
    John

    Geekbench 2.2.6 should improve compatibility with CentOS 5 and RHEL 5:

    Please let me know if you continue to have problems with this new release.
