When I try to upload to Dropbox. I get an error. I verified that the Geekbench folder is being created on my Dropbox account.

    Colin,

Any luck yet fixing the upload error for dropbox.
I see you guys just updated the app which is cool but I’m still getting the error.

    Thanks much,

    Hi Les,

Thanks for your patience so far. I'm afraid that we do not have an estimate right now for when the Dropbox issue will be resolved.

I just purchased Geekbench so i don’t know what normal behavior is. I am also getting the Dropbox error. Is this something that is supposed to work? Should i spend time trying to fix it or are you saying this feature isn’t working anymore? I did some googling and see this has been a problem since 2016 at least. Thanks for letting me know.

    Hi Star,

Dropbox uploading is expected to work, but there is currently an issue preventing Geekbench from connecting to Dropbox properly. This issue is distinct from any Dropbox-related issues that occurred in 2016, and we can't currently provide a timeline for restoring the service for uploading Geekbench results to Dropbox. Thanks for your patience, and I'll let you know as soon as I can if we're able to provide more information.

    All the best,

The problem still exists in both versions of GeekBench 4.2 (macOS and iOS). When trying to link to DropBox, an empty folder is created on DropBox but nothing will be saved there, not from my Mac and not from my iPhone.

I'm also having this issue. I'm leaving a 3 star review on the App Store until it's fixed.

After 5 months, the upload to Dropbox still does not work and show the same “error” when trying to do so.
In order not to mislead all the users and make them waist there time with trying to fix it, wouldn’t it be better do mark that option with “not working fo the time being” or so ??

    Hi Ernst,

I'm sorry for any trouble caused by this issue. I'll pass your suggestion along to my team and see if we can implement it as a temporary measure to help address some of the confusion around this issue. In the mean time, thanks for your patience.

    All the best,
