GeekBench 2.2.6 Crashes on Start

I get several Visual C++ assertion errors after the program starts running "Blowfish" on launch.
I reinstalled and get the same error.
Running Windows XP SP3 with Phenom II x4 925 2.8 Ghz and 4 GB Ram

    I'm sorry you're having problems running Geekbench. Have you been able to run other versions of Geekbench in the past?
