I am running a 2010 MBP 17" 2.66G | 8MB | 250 SSD... the CPU test works fine but, when I attempt to run the Compute test a window drops down as if it is starting but, within <1sec the window closes back to the home screen. It happens so fast that I cannot read anything on the window that opens.

I'm sorry you're having issues with Geekbench. Could you tell me which driver and graphics card you are trying to run the Compute test on?

We're aware of issues with the Geekbench 4 Compute Benchmark when running on NVIDIA GeForce 330M GPUs. The underlying cause is an issue with the OpenCL driver that ships with macOS. We've reported the issue to Apple but their response indicates a fix is unlikely.

Let me know if you have any other questions regarding this issue.
