Arstechnica has used a beta version of Geekbench iOS for thermal tests to test for COU throttling. I'm curious why it's not included in the normal download version?
I'd like to run it against the new iPad Pro 9.7" (something Ars didn't do this time in their review) to compare against the iPad Air 2.
3DMarks Sling Shot Extreme seems to show that the new Pro throttles very hard compared to the Air 2, but I'd love to see figures like the Geekbench thermal test seems to produce.
