crash on Windows Azure Windows guests
I was able to run Geekbench in Azure's Linux guests, but it has mostly been crashing on me in the Windows Server environments one can run in Azure, towards the end of the process in fact, always at Stream Copy I think. The message is "Unhandled exception at 0x00CDD592 in geekbench_x86_32.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x00000008."
I doubt the dissassembly around the breakpoint in Visual Studio will be of much help, but here it is, the pointer was at ..92

Could you try the latest version of Geekbench 3? It fixes a crash in the STREAM Copy workload that might be the same crash you're encountering:
http://geekbench.s3.amazonaws.com/Geekbench-3.1.0-WindowsSetup.exe
Let me know whether that solves the problem for you!
Thanks,
John

yes. it looks like problem solved. Of course all results are marked as inaccurate, I guess we cannot help it!

I'm glad to hear the new build fixed the problem. Could you send me a link to a result that's marked as inaccurate? I'd like to take a closer look.
Thanks,
John

oops, I've just read your mind, you are going to whitelist Azure until someone finds a way to cheat :)
