Thanks for the heads up. I've flagged the system as inaccurate. Occasionally we have issues with the high-resolution timers we use to time benchmarks, but I'll dig into this result to make sure that's what happened.
Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to help out.
Best,
John

Thank you!
I'm here testing a dual socket SM board with the new E5-2687W V2's trying
to match some of those quad and 8 socket monsters..Tough but slowly getting
there! :-)
Pushing close to 4Ghz with memory at over 2000..

I'd be really curious to see what sort of Geekbench score you can get out of that system.
Are you running Geekbench under Windows? There are some issues with Windows that prevent Geekbench from using more than 32 threads in 32-bit mode. We're trying to figure out how to work around these issues but for now the "easy" solution is to run Geekbench in 64-bit mode.

John
My Geekbench 3 submissions are being flagged as inaccurate.
Can you help on this?

Strange! I'll take a look at it and let you know what I find.

Any luck? I have the top score on multi core and would like to do a little
bragging! LOL
Dave
PS You said you have issues above 32 threads in windows?
Nex week I should have the new top bin E5-2697 V2 Intel Ivy Bridge xeons
12 core/24 thread so 24 core/48 threads to the board..

Hijacking this thread :-)
With a dual E5-2697v2 System geekbench reports a score of about 37.000. Watching Performance Monitor during execution it is evident that Geekbench 3 does not use more than 32 cores (out of the 48 Logical cores available)
Total system performance never goes above 66% (= 32 cores used from 48 available)
System:
Asus Z9PE-D16
2 x Xeon E5-2697v2 (12c, 24t, 2.7 GHz)
256 GB ECC RAM 1600 MHz
Is there a fix to overcome the 32 core limitation?
thx & rgds,
Andy

I uderstand BUT in my case the E5-2687W V2's are "only" 32 threads"
Can't understand why I'm getting the red libe with it showing as
"inaccurate"

Hi Dave and Andy,
The "32 thread" limitation is a limitation with 32-bit programs under Windows. We recommend running the 64-bit version of Geekbench on systems with more than 32 logical cores to overcome the limitation.
Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to help out.
Best,
John

YIPPEE!
Thanks for the help!
Appreciated!

Hohm.
Ok, I misunderstood. I thought the 32 thread limitation was in the program
no matter whucj version you used.
I just use the 64 bit version
Dave

John,
I used the 64bit Version of geekbench3, not the 32bit Version.
Win8 Pro 64bit was the OS.
This system has no issue with other applications written for high performance. Y-cruncher, stanford folding, etc.. all leverage the 48 logical cores.
What can be don to enable 32+ core support in Geekbench3 64bit?
thanks,
Andy
Support Staff 16 Posted by John on 26 Sep, 2013 06:47 AM
Hi Andy,
That's strange. Geekbench 3 64-bit should be able to use up to 64 logical processors. Let me dig into the issue and get back to you.
Thanks,
John

Hi,
Are there any news about 32+ core support yet?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Raf

No word yet. We're working on provisioning a 32+ core system to debug 32+ core support and it's taking longer than I had expected. I will let you know when we have more information.
Best,
John
