Geekbench 2 Linux - Missing libpthread Library
Hi there,
I'm trying out Geekbench on a number of Linux-based network attached storage devices, as a consistent benchmarking tool would be really useful for my website.
I can install and run Geekbench 2 Linux no problem on QNAP devices. Next up is an ASUSTOR NAS device, which I believe runs on BusyBox. When attempting to run, I get the following error:
error while loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
A quick hunt in /usr/lib shows that libpthread is missing. Bah. I'm most definitely *not* a Linux expert, so was hoping someone would be able to provide guidance to get Geekbench 2 up and running given this issue.
Many thanks!
Terry

Oof. I don't think it will be possible to get Geekbench 2 working if libpthread is missing, since Geekbench uses that library extensively. Sorry!
Best,
John

Hi John
Thanks for the response. I've subsequently found that libpthread isn't
missing, it's located in
/lib64/libpthread.so.0
Any thoughts on getting it going?
Terry
